Well, the book forum seemed a tad empty so i figured I'd add my favorite book series, Harry Potter.
I don't care if people consider it to be a kids book; I feel that it is a series that transcends age.
What are your opinions?

Harry Potter is my absolute favorite book(s) of all time.
I really don't think it should be considered a childrens' book anymore; it may have started out that way, but Harry grew up just like his readers. It's still suitable for kids, but I think calling it a childrens' series is a bit misleading.

I agree! It's not vulgar in anyway but the subject matter is still something that even most adults can get into!

^Exactly!
What do you think of the non JK Rowling HP creations (fanfiction, A Very Potter Musical/Sequel, the theme park and movies, etc...)?

I don't read much fan-fic, mostly because I've just been scared by bad stories. That and I'm very...picky... I don't like when people make characters do out of character things. Snape/Hermione? That doesn't even begin to make sense! But I love AVPM and the Sequel, I quote it often. I haven't been to the theme park, but plan too next January, and I do love the movies. My favorite movie for some reason is Goblet. It's not the best or even the most accurate, I just enjoy watching it.
