It makes me happy. I've been straight blonde for too long.

I've been red, purple, black, blonde, strawberry blonde, everything. lol.
I don't have the guts to do green, blue, yellow, etc. It doesn't look good on me. Right now my hair is like.. A faded orange, because it fades to that after I dye it, no matter what colour. >> lol.

My hair is your average brown, unfortunately! Buut, the mother says I can dye it dark red, because we're not allowed to dye our hair "unnatural" colours for school

^ Oi. I'm sorry. I'm surprised my school is so lenient. We're public, but kids basically wear anything they want. It's ridiculous to an extent.

Those are all gorgeous, Gypsy! What sort of dye did you use? My blue streak washed out a few months ago and now I just have this random blonde streak in my naturally brown hair. So then I dyed that streak purple, but I obviously didn't do somethign right, because the purple lasted like...two days. Dx Oh well. I think I'll just my hair grow out, and then next time I dye it, I'll do a bigger part of my hair. Do the dyeing thing gradually so I don't ruin my hair.

Thank you, i use Tish and Snooky's Manic Panic Classic Creme Formula, The Colors I used were Bad Boy blue, Tiger Lily, UltraViolet, Vampire Red, and Hot Hot Pink...along with several others not pictured... As far as your purple troubles, purple and blue are the toughest colors to keep up, and the hardest to get your hair to absorb... My guess is your hair did'nt absorb the purple very much at all... See, when you bleach your hair, like you did before the blue, it becomes more poreous and absorbant, and therefore soaks up color like a sponge...But given enough time, the hair with heal itself, and become less poreous...so if you were to lighten your hair again, I think the purple would stay =) another reason may be that the dye was old... it can go bad and another would be if you had it done at a non-allternative salon... in my experience, especially with purple, "professional" dyes, just don't last as long...

^ You're welcome! Ahh, that makes sense. My hair had been bleached several months before i re-dyed it. Thaaat would have done somethign for sure. The dye wasn't old, though, because I had just bought it. Next time I'll just have to remember to re-bleach. xD Thanks for the tips!

Be sure not to bleach too long...less that 15 minutes should do it, over bleaching can fry or even melt your hair...you definately DO NOT need to bleach as long as you did the first time...
